Ice Skating

Ice skating was a common pastime for Bannack residents in the Winter time during the town's life. We continue to keep the tradition alive and well at Bannack. The ice-skating pond is located at the eastern end of the Bannack town site. The warming house is stocked with ice skates and hot drinks. 

Weather depending the pond usually is open from Dec. 26-Feb. 17

From Dec. 26-Jan. 1 the pond is open every day 

Jan 1-Feb. 17 the pond is open only on weekends
